Speaking to the news source Physician Kigoma Regional Commissioner, Dr. Leonard Subi, said until yesterday there were 10 patients admitted to the district clinic Mwakizega Uvinza and three have died.
Dr. Subi said the disease has exploded with citizens living shores of Lake Tanganyika due to the presence of foreign nationals from neighboring Burundi who come to them.
He asked citizens to take precautions due to the disease to boil drinking water, wash hands and eat hot food.
The provincial health department parked strategically to fight the disease and ensure all yanawekewa water spray before they reach the consumer, he said.
"I ask the citizens to continue to take caution due to the cholera epidemic is that it is dangerous ... I ask citizens to make sure they put in a hygienic environment and should stop eating habits to eat it," said Dr. Subi.
