BUSINESSMAN famous tanzanite mining in Arusha, Mathias Manga was shot at his home Monday night by unknown persons. Police confirmed the incident and that the injury is getting better with treatment.
Speaking to journalists, the Regional Police Commander Sabas Liberatus Arusha admitted the incident and said that Manga has shot side at 4:45 Ngarenaro night at his home when he returned to his activities.
Sabas said according to the statement of Manga who spoke to them by telephone said that when he returned to his home and car Ngarenaro was a Toyota Landcruiser VX which does ikuitambua numbers was ikimfuatilia back for long.
He said soon after opened the door of the gate of his home, the suspects entered through a small gate that was open to internal and started attacking him with bullets.
Commander Sabas said in save Manga gave his pistol and started fighting with the robbers and run leaving him being injured on the ribs.
He Manga was rushed to hospital the Mount Meru Regional for treatment and was allowed to return that night to his home since his condition was not too bad.

Sabas said police conducts an investigation of the incident as well as to hunt down all those involved so that legal action can be taken against them.
Unfortunately the event has shown some mineral traders in Arusha, saying that the police should keep working at the event so participants can be considered extreme measures.
